REFERRING YOUR PATIENTS TO DOCTOR O'HANLAN:
I am happy to receive your referrals of patients with complex gynecologic conditions, all malignancies, and pre-malignant conditions. My plan would be to perform their needed surgery in one visit, and get them safely home to you for post-operative follow-up care, chemotherapy, or radiation. Please feel free to call me 24/7 on my cell phone (650-245-3250 clinicians only, please) if you have a question about any of your patients. I accept all insurances that accept me, including assignment for MediCare and MediCal.
To refer patients:
Emergencies, In-patient: Call and I will accept transfer, hospital to hospital, as possible.
Non-emergencies, Out-patient: Please have your office staff give our Intake Papers to your patient to fill out and fax to us. I will call her and arrange everything from that point on.
If possible, your staff can help me get their necessary pre-operative tests prior to surgery. What to order for consultation.
After her surgery, I will fax you and all collaborating clinicians in your area her History and Physical, Operative Report, Pathology Report, any X-rays and labs we get and send you a letter with my recommendations for her post-operative care, treatments, and follow-up.
